Quickest way to send emails in Linux

Too busy to open the email client, or you are just too lazy to make some clicks. Both ways you will find this tip useful to send emails without making a lot of effort. This method works for both KDE and GNOME, just press "alt + F2" and in the dialog box that appears just type in the following command:

mailto:address@host.com 

Once you have added your desired address press enter and you will be directed to your email client either KMail (on KDE Desktop) or Evolution (in case of GNOME). Now simply speak your mind out and you are ready to press the big send button.
